A fanfic for my Rescue Team with Auzzy's Cubone, Cade . XD
Was it any good?
Eh. Depends on how you perceive "good" It was a lot of purple prose, to be honest. One of those extreme-detail-oriented stories that take upwards of five lines to describe every single little thing. So, if you like a LOT of unnecessary detail, then you may like it.
Write poetry?
Uhm, no.
Angsty poetry?
What part of 'no' did you not understand, exactly?
Favorite genre of writing?
Ohh, toughie. I really like realistic fiction, as well as modern/medieval fantasy.
Most fun character youve ever created?
Jace. Not even close. Jace is a vertically obese, boney piece of flesh, who's addicted to Cheerios and loves boats. He's got a long face and sleepy-looking eyes and doesn't say much but has the weirdest little obsessions, like colorful bow-ties and cardboard cutout of soccer players. XD
Most annoying character youve ever created?
Remington pre-Trenton. A young prince. Basically the epitome of spoiled brats all over. He was a whiny, bitchy asshole and extremely arrogant and self-righteous.
Best plot youve ever created?
Hmmm tough crunchies I'mma have to say my favorite plot was a modern fantasy roleplay that spanned for some 48 pages between me and Auzzy about two young boys, (Kaleb was mine and Dwight his) who find a young, injured shape-shifting fairy named Sabastien, and decide to nurse him back to health, despite ill-tempered fairy's pleas. It was really fun to write about, and upon reflection it's honestly more like a co-written short story than a roleplay. XD
Coolest plot twist youve ever created?
Probably the one I'm workin on now with my in-development novel.
How often do you get writers block?
Sadly enough: Quite often.
Write fan fiction?
Yus.
Do you type or write by hand?
Typing. Duh.
Do you save everything you write?
Not really. I get quite embarrassed about crappy stories and whatnot, and tend to file them away quite hastily.
Do you ever go back to an idea after youve abandoned it?
Not really.
Whats your favorite thing youve written?
Probably the story about the injured fairy. Me and Aus have come to call it "Fairy Tale"
Whats everyone elses favorite story that youve written?
People do tend to like Fairy Tale. It's a whimsical and touching story with an unexpected ending. Got a lotta heart, I'd say. :3 But people also tend to like my many long, drawn-out short-stories that are more like small novella than short stories, really.
Do you ever show people your work?
Generally yes, except all the crappy stuff.
Did you ever write a novel?
IN PROCESS.
Ever written romance or angsty teen drama?
Not really, but I have been known to throw in some romance.
Whats your favorite setting for your characters?
Groups. If I don't have a bunch of personalities to go off of then I am not a happy camper.
How many writing projects are you working on right now?
One.
Do you want to write for a living?
In a word? No.
Have you ever won an award for your written?
Eh. Nothing big. A few times in class or some small competitions. Nothing to get n ego over.
Ever written anything in script or play format?
Not yet.
What are your five favorite words?
Louche, kalopsia, unasinous, chlorine, and tacenda to name a few.
Do you ever write based on yourself?
Not really.
What character have you created that is most like yourself?
Noah, I'd say. He's a shy, clumsy, goofball who like to sit around and think about stuff. He loves whales and suffers from Automatonophobia, the fear of ventriloquist dummies.
Where do you get ideas for your characters?
Usually just by contemplating a personality that fits with a fetish or trait or fear of some sorts that eventually just involves into a character.
Do you ever write based on your dreams?
If everything I wrote was based off of my dreams I would have some obscure, stupid stories. XD
Do you favor happy endings, sad endings or cliff-hangers?
In-between, honestly. I like ending that have sad elements but also a feeling of hope. In my opinion, happy endings aren't believable, and depressing endings don't make the world any brighter. Why not make an ending that's believably sad but sufficiently uplifting? :3
Have you ever written based on an artwork youve seen?
Nah.
Are you concerned with spelling and grammar as you write?
Enter Grammar Police.
Ever write anything in chat-speak (how r u?)
HELL no!
Was that question appalling and unwriterly?
UHMYEAH! You'd have to have an intellect rivaled by garden tools to think using chatspeak in a piece of literature is okay!
Does music help you write?
Not particularly. I get sidetracked.
Quote something youve written. Whatever pops into your head.
"How curious, these children. Still young and wildly, with curiosity and wonder glinting in their wide, polished eyes like any other child their age, human or no. They possessed little knowledge of this world and its inhabitants. They knew nothing of what I've studied and learned of about of all of this, and yet they seemed to possess a sharper acumen and vaster wisdom of life and the living than I--in all my years of textbook learning--have ever come to understand."
-Sebastian, of Fairy Tale.
